Here is the newest episode of my “Best iPhone 5 Cases Series” the fabshell burton by speck. This fabshell burton is a rather average case in terms of protection, but what really makes this case stand out is the design.
Yes this case has an amazing plaid fabric stuck to it, giving it a very unique look. This case is easily within the top 3 of my favorites because of this. Another great feature of the fabshell is it keeps a very thin profile for your iPhone 5, unlike many other cases. Considering the unique fabric look it also offers a great feel to your hand, this case is simply soft. All of the normal cutouts for the head phone jack and lightning connector are present on this case, all though you will have some issues docking this case to MP3 players and Docks but this is a given with most cases. The volume rockers are covered, but you will still notice a nice tactile feedback when using them. The mute switch is exposed and surprisingly easy to access. The lock/power button atop your iPhone 5 is covered also, this is the only issue i have found with the case. The lock/power button can be a bit stiff to press. All in all this is a great looking, feeling and minimalistic case, i would recommend this case to anyone!
