How To Jailbreak Your iPhone, iPod Or iPad Using evasi0n

The jailbreak is very simple, just follow the directions the evad3rs give you through out the entire process. On a side note here is what your going to want to do prior to jailbreaking.

Backup all of your data on your device using itunes or the cloud.
Update and Restore your device with iTunes to 6.1, not OTA.
Turn Off your passcode lock, this can cause issues with the jailbreak.

After you have done this it’s 100% safe to jailbreak. When the jailbreak completes you can then restore from backup to get all your data back. Below are the download links for the iOS 6.X Untethered evasi0n Jailbreak.

Hi,

I got an iPhone 4s, jailbroken, on ios 5 that I want to upgrade to ios 6.1. Is it possible to do so and keep all my current settings in cydia so I don’t have to install all the sources and tweaks again?

Situation !
I’ve jailbroken my A4 device, and when cydia finished updating, the package for the semitethered to untethered appeared as an update, did the update, refresh springboard, installed some tweaks, and realised that i don’t nead that package, because i’ve jailbroken my device untethered , and removed it. installed another tweak, reboot the device, and the jailbreak didn’t work anymore, so i guess now, the jailbreak tool from evasion is needing that update in cydia , right ? (now i’m restoring with itunes and do the jailbreak over again )
