Written by For anybody that has a device without Siri, google voice search is a great alternative. As you could see in this demo video voice search is very fast, and for the most part answered my questions decently accurate. I wouldn’t say voice search is better than siri in anyway, as siri is integrated into iOS. Siri can be used for core functionality, like setting reminders, launching apps and playing music. But in terms of web based searches, google voice is definitely faster.
I really like the minimalistic UI of voice search, and love the weather. Google has always been known for minimalistic and clean, This updated version of Google Search is hands down gorgeous looking.
So for those of you without siri, or who just like google, this app will easily win a spot on your springboard.
