With the release of the evasi0n iOS 6 untethered jailbreak thats compatible with all idevice’s running ios 6 there has been many server issues through out the day. Cydia is no different, with this insane high traffic volume this has caused some major problems to cydia’s and also source’s servers. Anytime you receive an error code while attempting to download a package in cydia, its because your connection to the server has timed out or you didnt even connect. This is a normal problem even without a huge jailbreak release. You might encounter this issue from sources also like BigBoss and modmyi.
My best advice is to stay patient and try at a later time when theres less traffic or server upgrades.
