If you’re looking for the biggest bang for your buck in terms of protection for your iPhone 5 otter box is one of the leaders. The otter box has a 3 piece case system as shown in the video. The inner shell is 2 hard shell plastic pieces that snap together with ease, taking this case apart the first couple times may be a challenge. The hard shell is then wrapped with a very high quality rubbery outer cover.
I don’t think the Defender is a case for everyone as it does affect docking use and other slight minimal annouances. All in all this is a great case set at a accurate price point. So if you have a rugid tough lifestyle and need a case to stand up to it, you might want to consider the defender by otter box.
